What is automatic keywording?
The image has to have good keywords attached to be able to be found by our buyers. You can keyword your images yourself or you can leave it on us, this service is fully free for Pixmac users.
Is it better to keyword my images myself or leave it on you?
Both has its pros and cons. If you add keywords yourself, you hold control over them yourself and you can be sure that no important keyword will be forgotten - it could be problematic for example with flowers: our keyworders will sure add keywords as "flower", "flora", "nature", but most probably they won't know what exact kind it is.
If you leave keywords to us, we won't forget any basic keywords and your image will be standardly keyworded. You will also have less work with processing your images.
Or maybe the best option - fill in keywords yourself and than switch the autokeywording on. You won't see those keywords added by you but they will be saved and our keyworders will only go through them and add what will be missing.
How long can automatic keywording take?
The time needed for keywording depends on the amount of images we have acquired for review recently. It should not take more than two weeks. The average time needed for reviewing you can see in your account in your "Sell photos" section in the "All images" category.
